An Insight into DevOps: Techniques and Optimal Practices
Abstract
In today's competitive and fast-paced software development landscape, organizations across various industries are increasingly adopting DevOps practices to accelerate their software delivery processes, enhance collaboration, and improve overall application quality. This paper presents an in-depth analysis of techniques and best practices in DevOps, substantiated by case studies from industries such as banking and healthcare. DevOps, a portmanteau of Development and Operations, is an organizational practice that aims to bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery. The paper discusses the core principles of DevOps, its key techniques, and best practices. By presenting a comprehensive analysis of techniques and best practices in DevOps, along with case studies, this paper offers valuable insights for organizations seeking to implement or improve their DevOps practices. The findings highlight the importance of adopting a holistic approach to DevOps, encompassing both technical and cultural aspects, in order to maximize the benefits and achieve success in today's dynamic software development landscape.
